I'm Loving.....

Snakeskin accessories! Animal prints have been in fashion for a few seasons now, and snakeskin and python prints are a nice way to wear this trend. I love snakeskin prints because they can be very versatile. You can wear a snakeskin shoe or handbag in a neutral color with almost anything, or you can brighten up your outfit with colored snakeskin accessories.

Check out how Jennifer Lopez and Minka Kelly spice up their neutral outfits with snakeskin shoes. You could also use a snakeskin shoe as a neutral with a bright dress a la Rachel Bilson.

You could also incorporate this trend into your wardrobe with a snakeskin handbag. Go for a snakeskin printed hobo if you are going for a daytime look, or you could go for a sleek python clutch for a night out.

We all have our personal Alegria’s and my joie de vivre is design. As Diana shares the things that bring an instant smile to her face I will compliment it with a topic in Interior Design.

This week we give a nod to Diana’s favorite color, Blue.

What better way to express your sense of tranquility and peace of mind than thru the use of Blue. A refreshing color often associated with water and symbolizing peace. Floor to ceiling blue can be authoritative and overpowering but using it as an accent adds hints of serenity. Mixing various tones of blue with opposing colors and treasured possessions will give you a well curated design.

For an Ultra- Glam look combine luxurious textures, silks, velvets & fur with crystal and soft shades of teal as your accent color.

For an exceedingly elegant look splash some sky blue paint on the wall & apply various mirrors to the wall to create a dazzling headboard.

Who doesn’t love chocolate brown & blue? Pair it high gloss furniture & some murano glass for a uniquely feminine setting.

Thanks Janet! Those are some useful tips. How do you guys like to incorporate your favorite color into your home decor?

Spring Fashion: It's Electric

As I've mentioned before, blue is my favorite color, so I'm excited that electric blue is a popular color for the Spring 2011 season. I like that this color is bright, but not so bright that it's intimidating to wear. You can easily add this hue into your wardrobe with a bright blue dress, like the ladies on the red carpet. Or you could add a touch of the color with electric blue accessories. See below for some options.

Wrap Bracelets for Less

If you love the ever popular Chan Luu bracelets but you don't like the price tag, you should try Stella & Dot's Nugget Wrap Bracelet.  I have it in gold and I wear it all the time. I like to wear it alone, but I also like to wear it with other bracelets, like the Vintage Twist bracelet. The best part is that it's only $39, not $220!

Get the Look: Hilary Duff

I love this look on Hilary Duff, it's simple, yet she looks very put together. Hilary adds a twist to her outfit by tying the front of her blouse and adding a handbag in a brighter shade of green.

To achieve this look, take a nice olive green blouse and pair it with your favorite jeans and a handbag in a complimentary shade of green.

Here are some options to get you started:
