Colored denim is one of fall's biggest trends, and this season you will be able find denim in almost any color of the rainbow. Wearing a bright pink pair of pants is kind of intimidating, so I would try wearing a color like olive green or teal first. Another trend for fall is polka dots. You'll see this trend in dresses, tops and accessories.
I got the idea to combine these two trends from a girl I saw at Corner Bakery one morning. She was wearing a flowy polka dot blouse with a pair of teal skinny jeans. She looked cute and comfortable at the same time. You can wear this outfit with a pair of simple black flats during the day, or you can pair it with some nice black platfroms for a night out.
